Google Cloud Platform Controls Assessment Consultant (Only Visa Independent Candidate/W2)

This resource focuses on controls, risk and documentation, and will support the assessment alongside the SME.

• Experience with cloud security assessments, IT controls, technology risk, internal audit or compliance
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform security and governance—not necessarily a hands-on platform engineer
• Able to conduct walkthroughs, interview stakeholders and gather technical evidence
• Experience testing controls across IAM, privileged access, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, backups and incident response
• Strong documentation skills for workpapers, evidence trackers, gaps, risks and recommendations
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS Google Cloud Platform Benchmark, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or COBIT
• CISA, CCSK, Cloud Digital Leader or similar certification preferred
