An AmLaw 60 firm is actively seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Administrative Assistant for our California offices. This role is 100% remote with an office schedule of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm PST. This position requires a proactive administrative professional with a “can do attitude” who is able to give exceptional legal administrative support by anticipating needs, finding solutions to problems, and being an active team player.
Responsibilities (A Day in the Life)
This role serves as the primary administrative support for the litigation team, handling the preparation and revision of legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery. Maintain attorney calendars, assist with billing and client invoicing, manage new client and matter openings, and ensure compliance with California docketing rules. Provide additional support as needed to keep daily operations running efficiently.
Qualifications (We Know You)
- Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a collaborative and proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and under tight deadlines.
- A minimum of three years of recent litigation experience and proficiency with the California court system are required.
- Experience with e-filing, File & Serve, and legal technology systems including document management, docketing, billing, and time entry is preferred.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required; a college degree is preferred.
