Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Integrated Eligibility systems and state-level programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for public assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance Java/J2EE applications supporting Integrated Eligibility platforms.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and state stakeholders to understand requirements related to SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs.
  • Develop technical solutions ensuring compliance with state and federal eligibility standards.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Create technical documentation and maintain coding standards.
  • Support production deployments and provide post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE development.
  • Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility systems at state level.
  • Knowledge of eligibility programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid.
  • Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts.
  • Experience with web services (REST/SOAP), SQL, and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
