The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment like hostlers, cranes, and top/side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely.
• Maneuver containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, with open availability.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks, physical, and drug screening.
