Senior Quantitative Consultant, Melbourne

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage quantitative projects from briefing through to final delivery
  • Lead questionnaire development, project setup and fieldwork management
  • Develop analysis plans and storyboards focused on clients' business objectives
  • Analyse primary and secondary data to uncover meaningful insights and opportunitiesTranslate complex findings into succinct reports and strategic recommendations
  • Lead presentations and facilitate discussions with client stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, project updates and requests
  • Collaborate with quantitative, qualitative, marketing science, consulting and strategy specialists
  • Support senior leaders with proposals, pitches and new business activity
  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve the quality and efficiency of project delivery
Skills & Experience
  • Around 3-5 years of experience in quantitative market research, insights or consulting
  • Experience independently managing projects across the full research lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with pack testing, concept testing and tracking studies
  • Ideally, exposure to more complex methodologies such as pricing and portfolio analysis and usage and attitude studies
  • Experience across sectors such as consumer goods, food and beverage, energy or essential services would be advantageous
  • A strong understanding of quantitative methodologies and statistics
  • The ability to find the story in the data and connect insights to commercial outcomes
  • Excellent communication, presentation and consultative skills
  • Creative thinking and genuine curiosity about people, brands and business
  • Strong project management skills and confidence managing client relationships
  • Experience with Q or similar analysis platforms
