Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of strategically important trading technology while working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders.

What you'll do:

Lead architectural design and implementation across the electronic trading stack
Build high-performance, resilient Java solutions for order ingestion, routing and execution
Partner directly with FX trading and product teams
Drive automated testing and test-driven development
Research and implement performance optimisation techniques
Produce clear technical documentation and technology roadmaps

What you'll bring:

Expert-level knowledge of Core Java
Strong experience building order management or order-routing systems
Electronic trading experience across FX, Rates, Equities or Listed Derivatives
Experience designing fault-tolerant transaction-processing architectures
Strong understanding of multithreading and Java performance optimisation
Experience with low-latency or no-GC Java development would be advantageous
Strong test-driven development and software engineering practices
