Marketing Automation Traffic Manager

Join Gallagher’s Marketing Studio, our in-house marketing agency, as a Marketing Automation Traffic Manager. This is not a traditional project management role. Instead, you’ll act as the operational control tower for marketing automation work, ensuring requests are scoped correctly, assigned to the right resources, prioritised effectively, and delivered on time.

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in workflow, delivery, and resource management, ideally gained in complex corporate or agency environments. Strong Workfront expertise and a solid understanding of marketing automation workflows are essential.

• Manage the flow of marketing automation requests, including email campaigns, lead generation, and customer retention initiatives.
• Review incoming requests to ensure they’re ready to begin, clarifying gaps and aligning expectations.
• Assign tasks to the right resources based on scope, urgency, and team capacity.
• Monitor active projects, ensuring tasks are on track and risks are addressed.
• Validate content and ensure compliance with global and regional email marketing standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Support global teams across time zones to ensure seamless project progression.

• You have extensive experience in workflow, delivery, and resource management, with a strong focus on marketing automation.
• You’ve gained your experience in complex corporate or agency environments, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• You’re confident using Adobe Workfront and understand traffic management, resource allocation, and delivery prioritisation.
• You’re familiar with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation workflows.
• You’re a task driver, not a traditional project manager or business analyst. You thrive on keeping work moving and ensuring deadlines are met.
• You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You’re a strong communicator, able to manage demanding stakeholders and build relationships across teams.
• You’re passionate about improving processes and driving results.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
