Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. This role involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with significant impact.
• Analyze and resolve multi-faceted software engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with client personnel to deliver scalable solutions.
• Integrate Data Science and Generative AI solutions into enterprise applications.
• Deploy AI solutions into production environments using modern cloud and container platforms.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and governance requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or AI/ML engineering.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience deploying and operationalizing Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Predictive AI solutions.
• Experience building enterprise applications and APIs.
• Proficiency in cloud-based environments and containerized deployment platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.

Core Technical Skills:

• Programming & Application Development: Python, Git, FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, Pydantic, C#/.NET application integration.
• AI & Data Science Enablement: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, LangChain/LangGraph, Generative AI solutions, Predictive AI/ML solutions, model deployment, embeddings, vector search, RAG patterns.
• Data Engineering: SQL, Oracle, ETL/ELT, Spark/PySpark, data modeling, data pipeline development.
• Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse concepts.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or equivalent platforms.
• Cloud & Container Platforms: Azure, Docker, OpenShift.
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Monitoring & Operations: Logging, monitoring, alerting, Application Insights, production support.
• Security & Governance: Key Vault, OAuth, secrets management, PII/data governance.
• Analytics & Reporting: Power BI.
• Documentation & Delivery: Technical documentation, runbooks, Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting HR, HRIT, Workforce Analytics, or HR Data Science initiatives.
• Experience integrating Python-based Data Science solutions into enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting AI solutions in highly regulated environments.
• Nice to Have: C#/.NET development, Flask, Django, React, Gradio, Databricks, Neo4j/Graph Databases, Semantic Kernel, MLflow, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Azure AI Search.

Pay Range: $65/hr-$75/hr on W2 basis only
