We are seeking an experienced Palantir AI Engineer with expertise in Palantir Foundry, Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), and Generative AI to build enterprise-scale, production-ready AI solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience designing LLM-powered, ontology-driven AI workflows within regulated industries such as Insurance or Financial Services.

You will work at the intersection of Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, AI Agents, and enterprise data platforms, delivering intelligent AI solutions embedded directly into critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Palantir AIP & Generative AI

• Design and implement AI workflows, Logic functions, AI agents, and automation using Palantir AIP.

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Ontology-Augmented Generation (OAG) solutions leveraging Foundry data.

• Build AI copilots, decision-support systems, and autonomous workflows using AIP Agent Studio, Assist, and Automate.

• Integrate enterprise LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models within Palantir''s governance framework.

• Implement AI guardrails, evaluations (AIP Evals), versioning, human-in-the-loop workflows, and responsible AI practices.

• Ensure AI security, explainability, governance, and compliance in regulated environments.

Palantir Foundry & Data Engineering

• Design and enhance Foundry Ontologies representing enterprise business entities, relationships, and processes.

• Develop scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Foundry Pipeline Builder, and Transform APIs.

• Build AI-ready datasets with strong governance, lineage, security, and data quality.

• Develop interactive AI-powered applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate, and custom TypeScript frontends.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business problems into production-ready AI solutions.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for enterprise AI applications.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Engineer, GenAI Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer delivering production-grade AI solutions.

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP.

• Strong experience developing:

  • AIP Logic

  • LLM integrations

  • Foundry Ontologies

  • Data Pipelines & Transforms

  • Foundry Workshop applications

  • RAG and Agent-based AI workflows

• Strong programming expertise in Python and PySpark.

• Experience operationalizing LLMs including prompt engineering, orchestration, grounding, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and production AI systems.

• Experience with Apache Spark and enterprise data engineering.

• Experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Redshift.

• Experience integrating enterprise APIs and large-scale data platforms.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices for AI applications.

• Experience working in regulated industries such as Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Palantir Foundry Data Engineer Certification.

• Palantir AIP Certification.

• Palantir Foundry Solution Architect Certification.

• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Experience building enterprise AI copilots and autonomous AI agents.
