This is remote opening but needs to be onsite for 1 Week at client location
Description:
Provide functional support across SAP Materials Management and Production Planning supporting Clients' supply, material and production-planning processes. Work closely with Clients' planners, business SMEs, application teams, data teams and adjacent planning solutions to analyze planning requirements and issues, perform fit-gap and root-cause analysis, define functional requirements and specifications, validate master and transactional data dependencies, support SAP/planning integrations, develop and execute test scenarios, support defect resolution and assist with deployment and stabilization activities. The resource should possess strong SAP PP/MRP and MM expertise together with end-to-end supply-chain planning knowledge, preferably within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.

Roles / responsibilities I would expect
  1. MM functional expertise
    Strong knowledge of material master, purchasing, procurement, source determination, purchasing info records, outline agreements, inventory management, goods movements, stock transfers, subcontracting and material availability.
  2. PP functional expertise
    Strong understanding of BOMs, work centers/resources, routings/recipes, production versions, planned orders, production/process orders, MRP, capacity requirements and production execution.
  1. MRP & supply planning
    Understand MRP parameters, lot sizing, safety stock, lead times, procurement types, special procurement, planning calendars and exception messages. Translate planning requirements into appropriate SAP behavior.
  2. Semiconductor planning knowledge
    Understand Client-type flows across die/chip, package, assembly/test, packout, finished goods, constrained capacity and outsourced manufacturing. This is particularly important because the work already includes NPI chip and packout allocation
