Job Description

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach / Release Train Engineer (RTE)
 Job Location: Plano TX / Charlotte, NC / Pennington, NJ (3 Days onsite, 2 Days work from home) hybrid role.
 Job Type: 12+ Months contract

Pay Range: $50-$55/hr on W2

Please focus on candidates with strong SAFe/ART experience, including hands-on PI Planning, ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, backlog management, Agile coaching, dependency/risk management, and Agile metrics. SAFe Scrum Master/RTE certification is highly preferred, along with strong enterprise/financial services experience. Candidates must be local to Charlotte, Plano, or Pennington and comfortable working 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. Job Descriptions:

·        Planning for the team (Pre-Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs.

·        Drive agile execution to meet business outcomes and priorities.

·        Perform hands-on training/coaching to teams in all aspects of Lean-Agile.

·        Lead roles and teams to embrace a Lean-Agile and learning mindset.

·        Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.

·        Align teams to enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coach team members through change.

·        Help the team define norms/agreements, i.e. Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements.

·        Establish agile metrics and reporting

·        Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO).

·        Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team.

·        Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities has context menu.

·        Guide and coach the teams on the Agile Release Train on Scrum practices, and develop their understanding of Agile principles.

·        Help define norms/agreements for the ART and enforce the agreements.

·        Coordinate and facilitate ART ceremonies (for example, Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART

·        Sync or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System Demos, and Retrospective.

·        In collaboration with the Product Manager, ensure the program has a healthy product/program backlog.

·        Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the ART.

·        Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery and PI commitments.

·        Responsible for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ARTplans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership.

·        Ensure Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology solutions are met for the epics/features delivered by the ART.

·        Measure ART delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the ART to identify improvement opportunities.

·        Capture data to help determine/track product funding and resource acquisition needs.

·        Mentor more junior Scrum Masters
