Senior Project Manager x 2

Professional Search Group is representing a leading Western Australian organisation seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to join a high-profile project based in East Perth.

These are exciting opportunities for accomplished project management professionals with a strong track record of delivering complex projects within large programs or portfolios. You will take ownership of project delivery, manage competing stakeholder expectations and ensure outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, time, budget and quality parameters.

Both positions are site-based, requiring attendance five days per week, with an initial eight-month contract and the potential for longer-term extensions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects within a broader program or portfolio.
• Maintain strong governance across scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, quality and benefits.
• Manage commercial matters, including supplier performance, contractual variations, claims and scope control.
• Challenge supplier positions, address under performance and escalate delivery risks where required.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, business stakeholders, technical specialists and participating agencies.
• Navigate technical complexity and ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Prepare high-quality project reporting, decision papers and presentations for Project Boards and senior stakeholders.
• Drive effective project governance, assurance, change control and stakeholder engagement.

Your skills and experience.

• Extensive experience managing complex projects within large programs or portfolios.
• Strong project management capability across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Proven commercial acumen and experience managing suppliers, contractual obligations and variations.
• Confidence engaging with and challenging senior stakeholders and suppliers.
• Exceptional negotiation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, technical ambiguity and challenging delivery environments.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting and Project Board presentations.
