Director of Patient Access

Job Title: Director of Patient Access

We are seeking an experienced Director of Patient Access to lead Patient Access operations and front-end Revenue Cycle functions across a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience managing registration, admissions, insurance verification, prior authorization, financial clearance, patient estimates, financial counseling, and point-of-service collections.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare Operations experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers/supervisors

• Strong experience with hospital Patient Access and front-end Revenue Cycle operations

• Expertise in registration, insurance verification, prior authorization, financial clearance, and denial prevention

• Hands-on experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar EHR/Revenue Cycle systems

• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Payers, and Managed Care

• Experience driving operational KPIs, process improvement, and team performance

• Bachelor's degree required; CHAM, CHAA, or CRCR certification is a plus
