Job Overview

 

Our client, a hospital facility in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical systems throughout the facility. The selected candidate will work with minimal supervision and may oversee helpers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Maintain and repair electrical systems including motors, HVAC components, alarms, medical and laboratory equipment, and lighting
• Service major utility infrastructure such as switchgear, transformers, and emergency power systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic instruments
• Install and modify circuits and conduits
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors and control equipment
• Ensure compliance with VA safety standards, NFPA-99, OSHA, FDA, and the National Electrical Code
• Work safely with voltages up to 4160 volts AC

Location & Work Model

 

Fully onsite in Dallas, TX 75216. Candidates must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including confined spaces and at heights.

Engagement Details

 

• Active Texas State Electrician License required — must provide a copy at time of engagement
• OSHA certification required
• Heavy lifting and frequent physical exertion required
