Summary:

Looking for a senior professional to oversee the architecture, design and development of the integration layer that allows different applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise systems to communicate reliably and securely.

Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise middleware and integration architecture.
• Develop integration solutions connecting applications, databases, APIs, SaaS platforms, and legacy systems.
• Design API, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Establish integration standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Evaluate and select middleware and integration technologies.
• Design highly available, scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant integration platforms.
• Lead migration from legacy middleware to modern API/event-based architectures.
• Design data transformation, routing, orchestration, and message-processing solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues.
• Work with application developers, data engineers, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Review technical designs and provide architecture guidance to development teams.

Qualifications:

• Integration platforms: PortX and one of the follows: MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ
• Cloud: Azure
• APIs: REST, SOAP, GraphQL
• Data formats: JSON, XML, Avro, CSV
• Protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, SFTP, JMS
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Strong experience with enterprise integration architecture.
• Experience with at least one major middleware/integration platform.
• Understanding of microservices and API-first architecture.
• Programming: C#, .Net highly preferred but Java accepted
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
• Experience designing highly available and scalable systems.
