The Role

• Support the learning, development, and self-esteem of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Assist in the delivery of educational activities and complementary learning experiences.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to devise and implement effective learning strategies.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive classroom environment where "huge small victories" are celebrated.
• Adapt to the diverse needs of students, fostering engagement and inspiration.
• Play a key role in helping young people achieve significant positive steps forward in their educational journey.

What You'll Need

• Significant experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and their development.
• Enthusiasm and expertise in supporting a department and its students.
• The ability to plan, work independently, and liaise effectively with teachers.
• A relevant NVQ Level 3 and a HLTA qualification, or equivalent.
• Resilience and dedication to supporting young people through challenging times.
