As a Benefits Administration Operations Manager, you will lead the end-to-end management of employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with US regulatory requirements. You will design and implement efficient processes that enhance member experience, optimize costs, and support the business’s strategic objectives. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will continuously evaluate program effectiveness and drive initiatives that align with organizational goals while maintaining a high level of service quality. Your role will involve hands‑on oversight of both internal and third‑party relations, problem resolution, and data integrity for the benefits ecosystem.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Oversee daily benefits administration operations for US employees, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

• Develop and maintain SOPs for benefits processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations such as ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.

• Coordinate with external vendors (insurance carriers, HRIS, payroll) to ensure accurate and timely data exchange.

• Manage data integrity, audit trails, and reporting for benefits enrollment, claims, and utilization.

• Lead benefit education initiatives, including communication of plan details, changes, and enrollment cycles.

• Analyze cost and service metrics to recommend process improvements and negotiate vendor pricing.

• Resolve employee benefit inquiries and escalations with prompt, accurate responses.

• Conduct periodic reviews of the benefits portfolio to align with business strategy and market trends.

• Collaborate with finance to manage budget forecasting, cost analysis, and ROI reporting for benefit offerings.

• Ensure continuous compliance with legal and regulatory changes affecting US benefits and lead audit preparations.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 12+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration within a large, multi‑state US organization.

• Deep knowledge of US benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.

• Proven track record of building and optimizing benefits processes and systems.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS platforms and data reporting tools.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of training and influencing internal and external parties.

• Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating favorable terms.

• Capable of leading cross‑functional projects with tight deadlines and budget constraints.

• Accredited certifications in benefits (e.g., CPP, GBS) or equivalent advanced HR education.

• Adaptability to rapidly changing regulatory environments and a proactive approach to compliance.
