Description
SAIC is seeking a NAVWAR-Crypto Engineer with experience in systems engineering to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team.
PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to provide NAVWAR-Crypto systems engineering expertise. Major duties of this position include:

Provide systems engineering expertise to the team to accomplish:
o Support of GPS enterprise integrated system testing
o Support of GPS enterprise requirements, capabilities, architectures, concepts, designs, and technologies development
o Software implementation of Y-code and M-code cryptographic algorithms
o Validation of National Security Agency (NSA) operational key material
Provide guidance and technical support for Crypto Management and NAVWAR
Collaborate with the government team, other program government leads, external organizations, and prime contractors
Actively participate as a Subject Matter Expert in the GPS requirements process
Qualifications
?Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Science
5+ years of overall experience
Active Secret clearance
GPS experience
Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating software
Demonstrated understanding of System Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures
Demonstrated experience working with or for the government
Demonstrated experience writing and delivering technical documents
Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Current/Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Experience with MS Visual Studio C++, Python, and MATLAB
Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations
Experience working specifically on a Systems Engineering and Integration contract
Experience and familiarity working with Space Systems Command
Experience and familiarity working with cryptography and cryptographic systems
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
