I-Series Engineer

The i-Series Engineer will work with Infinite i to enable IBM i applications to run on Linux, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform IBM i administration, and ensure the stability and performance of enterprise applications. Our client is in the process of replacing/improving a legacy ERP system for financial data. The data was migrated to Linux and is not functioning ideally and they need additional support to help improve and debug issues.

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with IBM I (AS/400) development/administration
• 3+ years of experience with RPG programming
• Hands-on experience working with Linux servers
• Understanding of Data Description Specifications (DDS) - legacy database files, display files (screens), and printer files for maintaining older application
• Experience working with Financial/ERP software
