Project Manager

Position: Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Looking for experienced Project Managers with complex IT project leadership experience. State government or public sector law enforcement agencies is highly preferred.

Required Skills:

Overall, 12 years of experience required.

8 years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT or business transformation projects in a structured environment.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI/PMBOK, Agile, and Hybrid).

Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.

Hands-on experience with risk management, issue tracking, and change control processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.

Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.

Ability to ensure compliance with organizational governance, policies, and procurement requirements.  

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in public sector or state government environments, preferably with public safety or law enforcement agencies.

Experience managing projects under state procurement frameworks (e.g., FAST, DIR, or similar contracts).

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.

Experience managing IT system implementations, enterprise applications, or data systems.
