Technology Specialist – Java, Cloud & Generative AI
Location: Hartford, CT 06103
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Candidate Rate: $60-$65
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Specialist with strong expertise in Java-based application development, cloud infrastructure, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks, along with practical experience leveraging Azure or other public cloud platforms.
The candidate should also possess experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions, Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications, and agentic AI agents to address business challenges and enhance the software development lifecycle.
The selected professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work within AI Pods to design, develop, integrate, and support scalable enterprise technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and application components.
  • Develop and integrate frontend components using JavaScript and modern UI frameworks.
  • Leverage Azure or other public cloud infrastructure to develop, deploy, and support enterprise applications.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions, including Generative AI applications, LLM-based solutions, and intelligent AI agents.
  • Develop and implement agentic AI agents to solve business problems, automate workflows, and improve the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, systems, and organizational data.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams within AI Pods to deliver technology solutions.
  • Participate in application development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support.
  • Follow enterprise development standards, security practices, and best practices for cloud-native application development.
Required Technical Skills
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong JavaScript development experience, preferably with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure or other public cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions.
  • Experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
  • Practical experience developing and implementing AI agents and agentic AI solutions.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and data.
  • Experience working in collaborative AI Pods or cross-functional engineering teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of enterprise application architecture and cloud-native development practices.
  • Experience delivering AI-driven solutions in large enterprise environments.
Additional Information
  • This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
  • Candidates must be available to work onsite in Hartford, CT, three days per week.
  • Candidates should have strong hands-on development and implementation experience.
