Gas Engineer

Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer Location: SY/LD Postcode<br />Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association<br />Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the SY/LD postcode areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
• Adhere to all Health &amp; Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications
• Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
• In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 &amp; HTR1
• Full UK driving licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment) Salary &amp;

Benefits:

• 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

• Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per year (DOE)
• Out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4)
• OTE £50,000+ per annum
