Job Description

About our Client

Our client builds financial infrastructure for purpose-driven giving. Their platform has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars across hundreds of organisations globally, connecting donors with causes that matter to them, at moments that matter most.

Their suite of products serves a growing global community of donors and the charities they support. The infrastructure is world-class. The creative output hasn’t kept pace. This role exists to change that.

The Role

In this role, you’ll bring together instructional design, content strategy, narrative development, brand alignment, collaboration across functions, and a real focus on learner impact. You’ll take complex client inputs and turn them into clear, compelling learning and enablement content that is accurate, usable, and genuinely valuable for the people who use it.

Shaping the Content Strategy and Narrative

  • You’ll translate complex client narratives, products, and use cases into engaging stories and content structures that learners can easily follow.
  • When you receive a complex brief, you’ll ask sharp, practical questions to clarify: • Who the audience is and where they’ll use the content
  • The goals at asset level versus programme level
  • The behaviour change or business impact you’re aiming for
  • Tone, constraints, and how success will be measured
  • You’ll propose smart formats and approaches to get the message across clearly, such as learning built around scenarios, modular job aids, decision trees, talk tracks, demos, and cheat sheets.
  • You’ll build a narrative flow that keeps your audience oriented, motivated, and able to act.

Designing and Developing Learning Content

  • You’ll create a wide range of content, including:
  • Sales and training slide decks
  • Learning assets such as infosheets, demo guides, and job aids
  • Sales enablement playbooks and toolkits
  • Digital learning scripts or content ready for module build
  • Video scripts, storyboards, and narration copy
  • Infographics and visual learning content, working alongside design
  • Developer or technical enablement assets such as guides, integration playbooks, technical onboarding materials, and demo flows for technical products or platforms
  • You’ll apply adult learning principles where they help: clarity, relevance, practice, feedback, and reinforcement.
  • You’ll write with precision and usability, so your audience can pick up what you’ve created and use it straight away without further explanation.

Working with AI (required)

  • You’re proficient and confident using AI tools in your workflow to work faster, sharpen your thinking, and raise quality, while always keeping your own judgement in charge.
  • You’ll use AI to speed up outlining, drafting, iteration, summarisation, and content versioning.
  • You’ll check everything produced with AI assistance for accuracy, tone, inclusivity, and brand alignment.
  • You’ll use AI to stress test clarity (for example, asking “what would a learner new to this topic misunderstand?”) and to strengthen examples, knowledge checks, and scenario realism.
  • You’ll protect confidentiality and follow project guidance on what can and cannot be shared with AI tools.

Translating Subject Matter for Enterprise and B2B Audiences

  • You’ll turn technical product information into content focused on solutions, supporting sales conversations, customer confidence, and practical application.
  • You’ll distil dense source material into crisp content of high value with a clear throughline.
  • Where it helps, you’ll create realistic scenarios that reflect customer contexts, objections, or decision points, without inventing claims that aren’t supported.

Keeping Brand and Messaging on Point

  • You’ll deliver content that follows client brand guidelines, tone, and voice closely. • You’ll keep terminology, formatting, naming conventions, and narrative consistent across every asset.
  • You’ll produce concise outputs that meet runtime or consumption goals, such as “under X minutes”, “a single page job aid”, or “a talk track of five slides”, without losing meaning.

How You’ll Collaborate

  • You’ll join briefing and project meetings as needed to gather context and confirm direction.
  • You’ll work closely with the project point of contact, learning and design partners, and the wider delivery team.
  • You’ll flag ambiguity, missing inputs, or risks early, and you’ll come with proposed solutions rather than just problems.
  • You’ll work comfortably across Google Workspace and shared documentation workflows (Docs, Slides, Drive).

Handling Feedback and Quality

  • You’ll take feedback on board constructively, quickly, and accurately.
  • You’ll hold yourself to high standards of accuracy, consistency, and instructional soundness in everything you deliver.
  • Before you submit anything, you’ll run final quality checks covering:
  • Accuracy and completeness against the brief
  • Flow and readability
  • Consistent terminology and style
  • Formatting and usability
  • Fact-checking and claim discipline, with no unverified statements
  • You’ll check technical accuracy against source documentation, SME feedback, and approved product guidance, making sure every implementation step, claim, term, and example is correct.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • You have proven experience creating learning and/or enablement content for Enterprise or B2B audiences.
  • You have strong writing and editing craft, with a command of clarity, structure, tone, and narrative flow. • You’re confident turning complex technical or product content into accessible, usable outputs. • You’re comfortable working in Google Workspace, especially Docs and Slides.
  • You have strong collaboration habits: you communicate proactively, follow through reliably, and welcome feedback.
  • You’re confident using AI tools as a working partner in a professional content workflow, from drafting through iteration and refinement.

Great if you also have

  • Experience in sales enablement, customer enablement, or enterprise L&D.
  • Experience creating digital learning scripts or content designed for LMS build. • Familiarity with AI enablement and/or technical product domains.
  • Experience creating developer enablement, technical onboarding, implementation training, or SaaS/product education content.
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, developer portals, or technical sandbox environments.
  • Experience working with AI, SaaS, cloud, data, or developer platform products.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Are

  • Focused on outcomes: you anchor every asset to what your audience needs to do differently afterwards.
  • •Structured and fast: you move quickly without compromising clarity or accuracy.
  • •Attentive to detail: you spot the small inconsistencies in language, formatting, and logic that can erode trust.
  • •Humble, with high standards: you welcome iteration and improve your work without fuss.
