Job Description

An established organisation is currently recruiting a Technical Business Analyst to join their development team. The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business strategy, technology teams, and external suppliers. You will work with colleagues, business stakeholders, internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers to define, validate and maintain the business, technical and data requirements.


Key Responsibilities for the Technical Business Analyst:

  • Gather, analyse, document and validate functional, non-functional, technical and data requirements
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability from business objectives and requirements through solution design, testing and delivered outcomes
  • Create clear process models, data models, current-state and future-state documentation and reusable analysis artefacts
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, project teams, architects, testers, operational colleagues and third-party suppliers
  • Review requirements, supplier artefacts and solution designs, challenging constructively and escalating material gaps, risks and dependencies
  • Define measurable outcomes, acceptance criteria and success measures and support post-delivery validation and lessons learned

Skills Required for the Technical Business Analyst:

  • Experience of eliciting, analysing, documenting and validating functional requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Experience of defining non-functional requirements such as performance, security, resilience, recoverability, operability and supportability
  • Experience of technical and data analysis covering integrations, data quality, migration, reconciliation and controls
  • Knowledge and experience of AI implementation are desirable but not required
  • Strong communication skills
