Quick overview
Job description
About the Role
Join a small product engineering team building software for healthcare providers and patients. You will own core platform foundations and end-to-end product work, where reliable data models, business logic, and AI-enabled workflows help improve care delivery and daily operations.
What You'll Do
Design and build clinical workflows for documentation, treatment planning, reassessments, supervision, and administrative tasks.
Develop systems that support service authorization, billing, payment adjudication, and provider payments.
Build tools for provider operations, including credentialing, contracting, compliance, payroll, scheduling, and staffing.
Create patient and family experiences for intake, onboarding, scheduling, communication, progress tracking, and payments.
Automate operational workflows across billing, authorizations, credentialing, and care coordination.
Own platform foundations across data models, APIs, security, reliability, AI infrastructure, and production systems.
Make architecture and system design decisions, taking products from database schema through user experience.
What We're Looking For
Four to ten years of fullstack engineering experience, including full-time work at a startup beyond an exclusively pre-seed or founding-stage environment.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firebase.
Product engineering experience that includes architecture ownership or system design, ideally at a Series A or later company.
Experience in healthtech, fintech, or another operationally complex and sensitive industry where accuracy and data integrity matter.
A bachelor's degree and solid computer science foundations.
Careful attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership for correctness in production systems.
