Remote Mental Health Therapist | South Dakota

LCSW | LMFT | LPC

$115,000–$120,000/year + full benefits
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Full-Time | Remote / Telehealth

The Role

We’re adding a licensed therapist to our remote team in South Dakota. You’ll provide ongoing counseling through video appointments, working with clients on concerns that can affect their mental health and everyday life.

Your caseload may include clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship concerns, or significant personal changes. Alongside your sessions, you’ll handle treatment planning, clinical notes, and follow-up care.

What You’ll Handle

  • Meet with clients for scheduled virtual counseling sessions
  • Review presenting concerns and relevant clinical history
  • Set treatment goals and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches
  • Help clients develop coping strategies and work through ongoing challenges
  • Reassess needs as treatment continues
  • Keep clinical notes and records complete and up to date
  • Active and unrestricted South Dakota license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field
  • Previous experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy
  • Knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation practices
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment
  • Comfortable providing care through telehealth technology
  • 2 weeks PTO
