1. Requirements and financial-process analysis: Review assigned Oracle EBS and BPM requirements, process maps, functional specifications, configuration changes, and release notes. Identify relevant business transactions, roles, approvals, data dependencies, expected accounting or operational outcomes, and exception conditions. Convert approved requirements into traceable test scenarios and expected results.

2. Oracle EBS module and transaction testing: Execute functional and system tests for the Oracle EBS modules and transactions included in the approved scope. Validate data entry, transaction processing, validations, status changes, business rules, role-based actions, and downstream effects. Confirm that application behavior aligns with documented requirements and that errors are handled consistently.

3. BPM routing and approval validation: Test applicable BPM process routing, task assignment, approval hierarchies, notifications, status transitions, delegation, rejection, resubmission, and exception paths. Verify that the correct participants receive tasks and that process outcomes are recorded and reflected in the associated application records.

4. Batch, interface, and scheduled processing: Validate assigned scheduled jobs, concurrent programs, batch processing, inbound and outbound interfaces, and related data movement. Confirm job initiation, completion status, record selection, output generation, error handling, and downstream updates. Coordinate investigation when processing failures or data mismatches occur.

5. Patch, configuration, and release testing: Review the scope of assigned patches, configuration changes, and application updates. Identify impacted functionality and execute targeted functional and regression tests. Verify that changed components behave as intended and that unaffected critical business processes continue to operate as expected.

6. Data and database-level validation: Where access and approved tools permit, validate relevant data values, transaction states, record relationships, and processing outcomes against application behavior and approved specifications. Coordinate with database or application administrators for queries or evidence requiring elevated access; do not perform unauthorized data changes.

7. Defect management and retesting: Document defects with process context, test data, transaction identifiers where permitted, reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence. Participate in triage, retest fixes, execute related regression scenarios, and maintain accurate defect status and ownership.

8. Test evidence and operational reporting: Maintain test cases, execution results, batch logs, BPM evidence, defect references, and release test summaries. Report completion, exceptions, blocked scenarios, unresolved defects, and risks to the Delivery Manager / Test Manager for consolidated CLIENT reporting.
