Job Description

The Employee will help our organization to identify and bridge the gap that exists in the business by analyzing the data, scale and support digital transformation initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Specialist to develop and modify scalable cloud architectures supporting Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.

The Cloud Specialist will ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, migrate on-premises applications and workloads to public cloud platforms, monitor infrastructure performance, and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Develop and modify scalable cloud architectures for IaaS and PaaS platforms.
  • Ensure security, compliance, data protection, and privacy across cloud environments.
  • Migrate on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance.
  • Identify and proactively resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud environments.
  • Improve cloud performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design controls and processes using available cloud audit tools.
  • Maintain current and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technologies.
  • Support cloud infrastructure administration and operational activities.
  • 5–6+ years of experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Prior experience working in government or regulated industry environments.
  • Experience with cloud migration, security, compliance, and infrastructure optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency with major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, and firewalls.
  • Advanced experience with Virtual Machine (VM) management.
  • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration experience.
  • Strong Linux administration experience.

Important Requirement

Candidates must be local to Jackson, MS and available to work 100% onsite. Remote candidates should not be submitted.
