Technical Sales Representative, Steel Ingot and Billet

Location: New Castle, PA
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: 25% to 30%, including some international
Pay: $90,000 to $110,000 per year

Must-Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate complex processes into customer solutions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25% to 30%, including internationally

What You'll Do

• Partner with customers to recommend the right technical solutions
• Support two core business units and contribute to sales across other divisions
• Review inquiries, set pricing, and develop process plans for steel ingot and billet production
• Serve as a technical resource on steelmaking and downstream processes
• Manage orders, scheduling, deliveries, WIP, and inventory
• Track product and order profitability
• Investigate customer claims with Metallurgy and drive resolution
• Improve sales and customer service processes
• Back up the Director of Sales when needed

Nice-to-Haves

• Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science
• 3 to 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the steel or metals industry
• Steel mill or forging experience

Compensation and Benefits

• $90,000 to $110,000 per year
• Exposure to a wide customer base and multiple business units
