Job Description

Job Role; Traceability Group Design and release engineer

Location; Dearborn, MI onsite
w2 and no benefits

This DRE will support Ford’s traceability group. The person will work extensively in WERS, Ford’s internal system used to manage engineering drawings and related engineering records.

Candidate requirements:

  • Must have hands-on Ford WERS experience.
  • Should have experience processing:
    • Engineering change requests
    • Change notices
    • Drawing or product changes
  • Approximately two or more years of relevant experience would be acceptable.
  • The candidate will most likely have worked:
    • Directly for Ford, or
    • For a Ford supplier with access to and experience using WERS.
  • The candidate’s commodity background is not important. Experience may be in interiors, exteriors, engines, transmissions, or another automotive area.
  • Engine experience is not required for this particular role.
