Stock Control Operative 

Location: Derby 

Working Hours: 08.00 – 18.00 (45 hours), working Monday to Friday. 

Salary up to £31,402.80 per annum

Fairfax Meadow us the UK’s favourite foodservice catering butcher and has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years.  Join us as Stock Control Operative and help to assist with the day-to-day duties of stock receiving, handling, monitoring & paperwork recording. 

A satisfying role 

As a Stock Control Operative, your ability to work on your own initiative and with a focus on food safety. You will assist in delivering the stock to the respective departments from chilled and frozen areas. You will have the responsibility for checking specifications and production information, entering product information into the computer system and stock rotation. • A positive, self-motivated attitude and a proactive approach to getting things done. 

• Good communication skills and confidence to communicate professionally at all levels. 

• A good eye for detail and accuracy in dealing with figures and computer literate.   

• The ability to build relationships with all kinds of people. 

• Previous experience in a similar production based role, ideally within a factory environment.
