Requirement:
We are seeking a Senior Jira Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Jira Administration, Atlassian Cloud, and enterprise platform integrations. This role will lead the administration, configuration, and modernization of a large-scale Jira environment while supporting enterprise migration initiatives and Agile transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize Jira within Atlassian Cloud.
• Configure workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and security schemes.
• Build and maintain integrations with GitLab, ServiceNow, and enterprise platforms using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Support migrations from Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira SaaS.
• Develop automation, scripting, and synchronization solutions across platforms.
• Monitor platform performance, licensing, governance, and application usage.
• Support Agile teams with reporting, dashboards, velocity, burndown, and delivery metrics.
• Create technical documentation and implement platform best practices.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on Jira Administration experience.
• Expertise in Jira workflows, permissions, security schemes, screens, and automation.
• Strong experience integrating Jira with GitLab and ServiceNow using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Experience migrating Azure DevOps or GitLab environments to Jira SaaS.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and DevSecOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian Government Cloud experience.
• Confluence and Bitbucket experience.
• FedRAMP, FISMA, or SOX compliance knowledge.
• Federal government experience.
• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP-620, ACP-120, or equivalent).
