Director, Digital Transformation | Private Credit - Vertus Partners

Our client is a global Alternative Investment Management firm with a rapidly growing Private Credit business, alongside a highly reputable Infrastructure, Natural Capital and Real Estate investment business. They are looking to hire a New York-based technology & change leader with a track record in the design and delivery of Front Office change initiatives, ideally from a Private Credit background.

This is a growth hire and would involve leading a globally distributed (NYC, Philadelphia, London, India) Digital Transformation function of around 10 people, consisting of BA’s, Product Owners, Data Analysts etc. The team is responsible for the design and delivery of digital solutions for the front office Private Credit teams, with example projects including the design of internally-developed front office applications, as well as the configuration/implementation of some vendor-based Front Office solutions. Main stakeholders include senior front office/investment individuals, technology leadership and senior middle office/operations stakeholders.

The ideal candidate would have:

1. Extensive experience in digital transformation, with a bias for strategic front office initiatives.
2. A deep knowledge of Private Credit as an asset class, as well as associated systems (Allvue, eFront etc.), broader Private Assets at a minimum.
3. This person must have a background in directly leading technology and change teams, as well as matrix management of wider change initiatives.
4. Track record of building and maintaining senior Front Office relationships.
5. Hands-on experience in the analysis of current-state operating models, as well as the design of future-state to enable the growth of investment platforms.

This is a fully permanent role based in New York City, c. 3-4 days per week on site. Salary range listed is base salary, with bonus, benefits and package on top.
