Training and Development Specialist

Sevita, a leader in home and community-based health care, is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to strengthen the skills of our direct care and support teams. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training that supports person-centered care across behavioral health, brain injury rehabilitation, and specialized foster care programs. Responsibilities include needs assessment, curriculum and e-learning development, facilitation of in-person and virtual sessions, and tracking compliance with regulatory standards. You'll collaborate closely with clinical, HR, and operations leaders, and benefit from Sevita's culture of inclusion, professional growth, and innovation while making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for direct care and support staff across Sevita's services
• Assess learning needs and develop curricula, materials, and e-learning modules
• Facilitate group training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust content based on feedback and outcomes
• Collaborate with clinical, HR, and operations leaders to align training with regulatory and organizational standards
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure staff meet required competencies
• Support onboarding and ongoing development of new hires and existing employees
• Incorporate person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices into all training
