Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve internal platform capabilities used by engineering teams globally.
• Develop automation and self-service tooling that improves developer productivity and reduces operational overhead.
• Enhance CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure platforms to improve reliability and scalability.
• Build and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure supporting critical business systems.
• Drive Platform Engineering best practices across software delivery, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Partner with engineering teams to understand challenges and deliver solutions that improve workflows and efficiency.
• Improve system resilience, security, and operational excellence across the technology estate.
• Lead strategic platform initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the long-term direction of the engineering platform.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong background building platforms that support large engineering organisations.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and modern automation tooling.
• Strong software engineering mindset with experience writing code to automate and solve infrastructure challenges.
• Experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade platform services.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies.
• Proven ability to work directly with engineering stakeholders and drive adoption of platform solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
• Strong ownership mentality, commercial awareness, and passion for continuous improvement.
• A track record of delivering high-impact technical initiatives within complex environments.
