Job Description

Epic Ambulatory support role within our Clinical Applications capability, funded to help move a bundle of client projects forward. The role will support assigned projects, general maintenance and operations, tickets, and Epic upgrades as needed. We are looking for someone with EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart certifications/experience.

We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to join the Epic Shared Services team supporting multiple Epic health system clients. This role will primarily focus on EpicCare Ambulatory, while also contributing to initiatives involving Professional Billing, HIM, MyChart, Cadence, and Epic integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare business analysis, healthcare IT, Epic application analysis, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience working in a technical Epic build/configuration role.
  • Current EpicCare Ambulatory certification.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing requirements from operational and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with healthcare operational teams and external technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical/ambulatory operations.
  • Practical experience with healthcare interoperability technologies, including:
    • HL7
    • FHIR
    • REST/API integrations
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a remote, multi-client environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Epic certifications in one or more of the following:
    • Cadence
    • Professional Billing (PB)
    • HIM
    • MyChart
  • Experience implementing or supporting healthcare SaaS platforms.
  • Experience integrating third-party healthcare applications with Epic.
  • Strong understanding of professional coding, billing, revenue cycle, or health information management workflows.
  • Experience supporting Epic environments across multiple healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with care team workflows and ambulatory clinical processes.
  • Experience with vendor management and third-party application implementations.
  • Additional experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards.
