MSP Project Manager - Managed Services Provider

Must Skills:

The scale and geographic scope of similar implementations managed.
Experience with IT managed services transitions.
Number of workstreams and vendors coordinated.
Specific responsibility for planning, risk mitigation, vendor deliverables, and status reporting.
Any relevant IT plant-support experience.

Requirement:

This role will oversee the global transition of the company s IT managed services
provider from 1 external vendor to another. The implementation affects all regions,
which requires significant coordination and project management.
Prioritize candidates who can demonstrate:
Oversight of large, global IT implementations involving multiple regions and vendors.
Coordination of approximately 15 simultaneous workstreams, including
dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
Direct experience with IT managed services implementation or provider
transition.
Strong vendor management, including maintaining schedules, driving
accountability, and escalating issues.
Detailed project planning and consistent reporting on cost, timing, staffing, risks,
and overall status.
Ability to remove obstacles, mitigate implementation risks, and bring the
appropriate stakeholders together for major decisions.
Disciplined use of project or performance management tools and proper
documentation practices.
Ideally, experience supporting IT managed services within a plant-support
environment.

Important Scope Clarification:
This is strictly a project oversight and management role. The candidate will not perform
IT execution, programming, system configuration, or sprint management. Suppliers should
emphasize project leadership, vendor coordination, risk management, and global
implementation oversight not hands-on technical delivery.
No PMP or formal project management certification is required
