The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work with local authorities and schools to transform the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to students.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD experience.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• UK residency with the right to work in the UK.
