Position: Supply Chain Buyer
Location: Onsite - Monday thru Friday in Allen Pkwy, Houston 77019
Duration: Short Term 6 weeks

This industry leader has an immediate need for an experienced buyer for a short-term project. This position reports to Director, Supply Chain Services
The position coordinates activities involved with the procurement of supplies and services that support the company s strategic Promotional Goods Program initiatives
Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
Knowledgeable on Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Coupa
Deliver relevant analysis and reports of commodities and suppliers
Deliver guidance, support, recommendations and assistance to internal customers on supply related needs
Expedite orders and field inquiries on status & tracking
Assist in resolving invoice payment issues/discrepancies
Collaborates well with others - internal departments, field locations and suppliers
Positive learning acumen and application towards day-to-day activities
