The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks within the intermodal yard.
• Position containers and chassis accurately using hostlers.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
• Coordinate container movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capacity to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
• Pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
