We are hiring for an impact-driven community organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored educational support, empowering disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs (KS1-KS5).
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools to help them achieve their educational goals.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching Core Subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
