Based in Cranberry Township, PA, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of networking solutions that support Ovation control systems. You will collaborate with global teams, project partners, and customers to reliable, high-quality solutions that enable safe, efficient, and innovation operations across North America and beyond.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, firewalls, routers and media converters.
  • Design and implement network systems including both wired and wireless infrastructure, and multi-network systems. 
  • Provide support for network connectivity or related network issues.
  • Analyze network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors. 
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network issues, researching and recommending software or hardware enhancements when needed.
  • Maintain proficiency with current and future networking technologies. 
  • Provide proposal support, project team support, iCenter support, and field service support related to networking. 
  • When required, travel to customer sites to commission or troubleshoot network related equipment (up to 20% of the time). 
  • Gather technical equipment specifications from customer specification understanding of how best to implement a network configuration based on these inputs and Ovation standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or an equivalent combination of experience and education 
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, design principles, and problem-solving methods
  • A problem-solver’s mindset, with the ability to analyze information and think creatively to find solutions
  • Excitement to contribute, grow, and make an impact early in your career
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
     
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • CCNP or CCNA certification 
  • Knowledge of Ovation networks and architecture
  • Familiarity with other DCS or PLC manufacturers
  • Experience working with Cisco devices.
