Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager

Introduction:

This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager who will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional engineering programs in the field of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and product development, with a focus on managing hardware, firmware, systems, verification, and regulatory activities from concept through commercialization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the development of electrical engineering projects
• Manage technical decision-making, schedules, and budgets for engineering programs
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership on project status and risks
• Ensure compliance with design controls, verification/validation, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to drive project success

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and product development
• Experience in managing hardware, firmware, systems, verification, and regulatory activities
• Expertise in requirements management, risk management, design controls, and supplier management
• Background in regulated industries such as medical devices
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering

Preferred Skills:

• Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or MBA
• Additional training or certifications in Program Management (PMP), Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or Systems Engineering
