Project Manager | £490-£510 per day | Inside IR35

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major programme in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

This is a 6-month rolling contract with a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement - approximately 50% onsite in Barrow-in-Furness and 50% remote.

The Role

We're seeking skilled and experienced Project Managers to oversee, manage and coordinate multiple site projects.

You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered effectively while providing clear reporting to senior stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships with the client.

A strong understanding of project critical paths, dependencies and the impact of delays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the Portfolio Lead
• Create, issue and monitor project forecasting
• Track project progress and identify potential risks and issues
• Manage client stakeholder relationships
• Provide clear and concise project updates to stakeholders
• Address client concerns and issues effectively
• Identify and manage project critical paths
• Analyse the impact of delays and dependencies on project timelines
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies
• Coordinate activities across multiple project teams

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Engagement Manager or similar
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using project management tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Strong understanding of critical path, dependencies and project forecasting
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
