Project Tech (Destructive Physical Analysis/Metrology) | Cambridge, MA | Hybrid

The Role

  • Perform destructive physical analysis on critical components to understand their construction and failure mechanisms.
  • Apply advanced metrology techniques for precise measurement and detailed documentation of component features.
  • Collaborate with engineers to provide insights that influence design, enhance reliability, and ensure mission-critical performance.
  • Work within a cleanroom environment, handling delicate parts and adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Operate a variety of specialized equipment and program computer-controlled automated and semi-automated systems.
  • Document all work meticulously in accordance with established policies.

What You'll Need

  • A 2-year technical degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR a 4-year degree with 10+ years of experience, OR relevant technical certifications with 10+ years of experience, OR 15+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly specialized skills relevant to the assigned work area.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
