We’re hiring a Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our Wilmington- Porters Neck Team!

We’re looking for a dependable, team‑oriented Hygiene Assistant who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. In this role, you’ll work alongside engaged providers and a supportive clinical team in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment where collaboration and quality care are top priorities.

What you will do

  • Assist the hygienist daily with diverse workflow
  • Take digital X‑rays
  • Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs
  • Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up
  • Support patient education and post‑appointment instructions
  • Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies
  • Schedule appointments
  • Support additional clinical‑related tasks

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Dependable, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused mindset
  • DA II training or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred
  • NC X‑ray Certification
  • Coronal Polishing Certificate
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • Ability to clearly explain treatment plans and insurance information
  • Knowledge of Denticon is a plus
