Job Description

At Home Instead Bradford & West Leeds, we believe care is personal. We’re part of the UK’s most trusted home care brand, with over 240 local offices and a reputation for exceptional, relationship-led support.

As a locally owned and managed branch, we offer the warm, family feel of a small business — backed by the strength, training, and standards of a global care organisation.

We don’t rush care. We take time to listen, support, and build real relationships — not just with our clients, but with our amazing Care Professionals too.

No two visits are the same, because no two clients are the same. You’ll be providing high-quality, one-hour minimum care that’s tailored to each person’s needs. Your visits may include:

  • Helping with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)

  • Supporting with medication and meal preparation

  • Light housework and laundry

  • Driving clients to appointments, shops, or social outings

  • Sharing meaningful companionship and conversation

We cover all areas of Bradford, plus West and North Leeds — and always aim to match you with clients close to home.

We’re looking for kind, caring people with a passion for making life better for others. You don’t need professional experience — we’ll provide full, paid training and support every step of the way.

✅ What you must have:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car
(due to the rural nature of some client visits and need to travel between them)

  • The right to work in the UK
(we are not currently able to offer VISA sponsorship)

What we provide:

We believe great care starts with happy, supported Care Professionals. That’s why we offer:

  • £12.75–£13.75 per hour (with enhanced pay on Bank Holidays)

  • Paid mileage, travel time, and waiting time between visits

  • Shifts that work for you — part-time, full-time, or guaranteed hour contracts

  • Fully paid training, plus optional NVQs and specialist care courses

  • A dedicated, friendly office team who support you every step of the way

  • Recognition and rewards, including Care Professional of the Month and regular team events

  • Staff referral bonuses when you help us grow the team

  • Access to exclusive retail discounts via our employee perks scheme

  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for mental health and wellbeing support

Our approach to care is simple: we match our clients with Care Professionals they trust, who take the time to build genuine relationships. That’s why our visits are never rushed — and why our team love what they do.
