Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

We're seeking a Highly experienced Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead high-impact enterprise technology initiatives that modernize critical services, strengthen security, and improve operational resilience across a complex environment.
As a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager, you'll take ownership of planning, executing, and delivering complex infrastructure initiatives across enterprise technology teams. You'll be responsible for:

• Leading infrastructure, end-user services, and information security projects from inception through deployment.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, architecture, cybersecurity, and vendor partners.
• Managing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, governance, and executive communications.
• Facilitating technical discussions and helping teams identify and resolve delivery challenges.
• Driving operational readiness, service transition, cutover planning, and successful handoffs to support teams.
• Translating technical complexity into concise, executive-friendly status updates and recommendations.

Required Experience

• Proven success managing enterprise infrastructure technology projects.
• Hands-on experience working with one or more of the following:
  • End User Services (EUS)
  • Information Security & Operations
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Endpoint Security
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)

Highly Desired Experience

• Identity Governance platforms (Okta, Microsoft Entra, SailPoint, Delinea, or similar)
• Enterprise disaster recovery and resilience programs
• Service Design and Service Transition implementations
• Infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Lean Portfolio Management practices
• AI-powered operations and automation programs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Strong project leadership, risk management, and communication skills.
• Experience creating executive presentations, governance materials, and project reporting.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, service transition frameworks, and operational readiness programs.
• Experience with cloud-enabled infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of infrastructure operating model transformations or large-scale technology integrations.
• Exposure to AI-driven operational improvements and automation strategies.

Education & Certifications

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, ITIL v4, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
• Security-focused certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $91.50 - $117.60/hr.
