Senior Technical Project Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex technical projects.
• Manage enterprise data engineering, analytics, cloud modernization, and AI adoption initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, data engineers, software developers, business analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, executive updates, and project governance reviews.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support cloud platform implementations, data pipelines, and enterprise applications.
• Support AI and advanced analytics initiatives by ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
• Oversee project documentation including project charters, implementation plans, lessons learned, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement through project governance, process optimization, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience managing enterprise technology or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading projects involving data engineering, analytics, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience managing cloud-based projects using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred; certification required for certain client engagements).
• PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications.
• Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with healthcare, regulated industries, compliance, security, and data governance.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, SDLC, DevOps, and information management principles.
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and TOGAF certification are a plus.
