SEN / SEND Tutor | Barnsley, South Yorkshire | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work flexibly to suit your schedule, with opportunities for part-time to full-time hours.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
